Our Contribution Strategy
The CSR program is carried out by our operating companies in the community that we serve. We believe our success has been made possible by the support of the community, and by giving back to and empowering the surrounding communities, we help creating a positive cycle of growth. PT Multi Tambangjaya Utama (MUTU) CSR program addresses the following aspects: health, education, community development and environment. These four aspects mutually support and strengthen one another for sustainable long term gains. In order to realize gains in these four areas, MUTU focuses on three areas: Community Relations and Development, Infrastructure Development, and Nurturing the Environment.
HEALTH
Health is increasingly becoming a focal point of our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activities, largely due to the recognition that a healthy community is fundamental to the longevity of success of a society and economic ecosystem. Therefore, PT Multi Tambangjaya Utama (MUTU) stands upfront to promote healthy living, brings the greatest health benefits to the greatest number of people within its operational area, including providing access to medical care and encouraging healthy habits which can contribute to a a better health system and better health facilities.
EDUCATION
PT Multi Tambangjaya Utama (MUTU) believes that education is a natural investment in the future of human development and the responsibility should be borne by every stakeholder in the country, not only by the government. We aim to empower the future generation by improving the presence and quality of education.
COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT
Our community development program is designed to promote better living for the targeted community, by creating suitable program initiatives and approaches which elevate the quality of life. With the adoption of suitable initiatives and approaches, PT Multi Tambangjaya Utama (MUTU) believes that strengths are found in all communities to uplift themselves, and mutual benefits can be achieved by both the corporation and the community.

Our commitment to the environment is absolute. PT Multi Tambangjaya Utama (MUTU) believes in sustainable development by ensuring all our operational activities are in harmony with the environment by applying good mining practices. By complying with all regulatory and environmental requirements, closely monitoring and controlling, we have minimized the impact of our operational activities on the environment.
